Kismat ka khel hai sara

Hemanshu holds a day job as a user interface (UI) designer. At night he monitors his investments and dreams of saving up enough for a blissful early retirement and time with his family and books.

He holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT-Kharagpur and a master of science degree in Human Computer Interaction (HCI) from GeorgiaTech-Atlanta.

He is always on the lookout for good opportunities in user research, usability testing, and user interface design.

Heard this song on the radio the other day, and simply had to post it. It's from the movie Ek chaalis ki local. The lyrics as well as the name of the movie brought back a flood of memories... but then adaptation is the name of the game. :)

I absolutely love this song too! I'm an English man who spends a lot of time in India and I first heard this song last year (2007) during a visit to Goa, they were playing it all of the time in a shack that I use regularly.

Despite being a frequent visitor to India, I still find it hard to learn the languages so could anybody provide a rough translation of the lyrics into english for me? or just an explaination of what the song is about lol. I'd love to know!
