Cheeni Kum is a mind bending movie which truly captures the eternal love-war situation between men and women.

There are some really good lines about crying, picking up a woman (yes woman, not girl) and rain/umbrella (chattri).

I won't spoil it for you, but I have to say that Amitabh-Tabu jodi (pair) is the best on-screen rapport I have seen in years, maybe ever.

Heard this song on the radio the other day, and simply had to post it. It's from the movie Ek chaalis ki local. The lyrics as well as the name of the movie brought back a flood of memories... but then adaptation is the name of the game. :)

So this weekend while I was in mumbai visiting my aunt, I ran into a very chirpy rickshaw driver. He was, no doubt, very vocal about his view on the goverment (bhenchod neta) and the police (maderchod lootere). I agreed with him on both counts.

Sometimes.. things happen which you can't control.. and then there are those things that happen, which you can control but don't want to.. and finally there are those things, which happen because you want to control but don't.

Makes any sense? What do you do when all 3 of the above happen simultaneously?
